Second Rapid Ideation Session Day 12: More texturing

I have textured more of my character (Lile, D., 2020). I have applied an eye texture to both of his eyes so now he has a red pupil (Blender, 2021).

I also learnt how to export UV maps to Photoshop (TopChannel1on1, 2018) so that I could add more detail to the textures, which I used to refine his necklace, skin and also his leaf belt (Adobe Photoshop 2021, 2021).

I have also created some eyebrows for the character. Here is how he looks now.

I have had to fast track through texturing, as the end of the deadline is coming close. While I do intend to finish this character even after the rapid ideation session has ended, it would be good to get as much of it done as possible.

I will therefore move onto rigging this character, as although I do feel somewhat confident, I need to give myself enough time for any technical issues that may arise.

I have moved texturing to the Done list as I have done as much as I can in the timeframe I have. Rigging has now been moved to In Progress.

Github repository

I made one commits to the texture branch – skin, leaf belt and bracelet (Github Desktop, 2021). This covers all of yesterday’s work but not today’s work. I have also brought these commits from the texture branch into the main branch.

I want to commit the remainder of my work but unfortunately the Blender file for the model now exceeds 100MB, which is apparently too big for Github to accommodate.

I am going to need to find a way around this but I am not sure how.
